Hi there!

My name is Gisela Lindeque. And you've probably guessed by now that I like wearing different hats. When I'm not helping academic authors make their excellent texts even more wonderful, or translating anything from blog posts to more serious articles, or doing some English teaching, I spend time conjuring up exciting stories for middle-grade kids.

I was born and raised in Sunny South Africa and yes, my favourite place is what we call THE BUSH. But the Atlantic Coast comes a close second. I've lived in Germany (Berlin), the UK (outskirts of London) and Portugal (a tiny village North of Lisbon). Now, I'm mostly back in the Motherland (South Africa). I love all the different cultures I've been exposed to, and I still have a three-page bucket list of places I'd like to visit. But, I have to admit, there's no place like home.

Although I qualified as a scientist (many moons ago), words are what make me tick. My mission is to use them to enrich the lives of others, whether it is bringing joy to a child through a book, or helping a professional express themself more clearly.

If you don't want to miss out on any exciting news:
